Donate to support our work!

Donate to support events!
Donations assist us with delivering our events such as Kurilpa Derby and Beggars Banquet and West End Film Festival each year. These two events costs us $30,000 minimum to host. We rely on local business support, our members and community contributions to make our signature events possible. Each year, these events increase in cost so if each of the 35,000 residents living in the Kurilpa Peninsula could donate, it means we can be 100% self-sustainable and all events free of charge. This is our goal as a community led and driven association!

Donate to support legal costs and appeals!
Appeals are costly and take a lot of time! For us to advocate and undertake a court case we must fund this from our community. We are currently fundraising for our appeal of the development application located at 82-88 Merivale St. This development application exceeds the local neighbourhood plan by 20 stories is a 12 storey zoned precinct. We say #12IsEnough. Our target is $7,000 and we hope to reach this by the 10th of September.

Donate to support community projects
We are fundraising for a range of ideas community wants us to undertake from our 4101 family forum. We are committed to 3 projects each year. Our current project is Resilience Kurilpa which was borne from the 2022 floods, and we are looking at developing a resource kit for the "How to's" of being stuck in a flood and getting back on your feet. We are aiming to raise %50,000 for the development of these suite of resources and guides free for residents.

Donate to just support us!
As a volunteer organisation, we have base costs such as compliance and governance expenses to keep us going. It’s about $10,000 per year to keep the oil in the engine! As a board, we don’t get paid. We are small but mighty, help us keep doing the work we do for Kurilpa.
